Pale green in color, this herb has a strong piney, woodsy, and floral flavor and aroma. Derived from the mint family, rosemary is used to flavor chicken, lamb, pork, salmon, tuna, soups, and sauces. Keep in mind that rosemary can become bitter with long exposure to heat, so it should be added almost at the end of your cooking.
